Royal Netherlands Navy frigate HNLMS Van Speijk (F828) is taking part in the current naval exercises. Seen here off Campbeltown April 2008 in a great shot by ClydeNavalGazing correspondent John Stewart.
Landing craft
An (as yet) unidentified landing craft captured at Largs Pier April 2007. An unusual visitor shot by ClydeNavalGazing correspondent Neil Robertson.
Daring
Daring lies off Largs with Cruiser in attendance as Caledonian Macbrayne's Loch Shira passes on service 23 April 2008. A smashing shot from the gloom provided by ClydeNavalGazing correspondent Neil Robertson.
General K. Pulanski
Polish guided missile frigate General K. Pulanski (ex USS Clark) heads back to Faslane 24 April 2008. HMS Walney (?) in the background. [Edit] The commentator is completely correct (thanks!), it is Minna! In my own defence, I didn't even see the boat, but the camera did![/Edit]
Multicat
Northern Marine's Multicat working in Clyde Marina, Ardrossan 23 April 2008. I cannot believe that they are seriously going to extend the main pontoon to that length! It is also the local gossip that the adjacent tanker berth is to be transformed into more Marina space!
