Type 23 frigate HMS Sutherland (F81) passing north through the Largs Channel on a lovely sunny afternoon 12 February 2010. She then paused for about 20 minutes at the north end of Great Cumbrae before heading south through the channel again. Curiously she could be 'seen' on AIS. Picture from ClydeNavalGazing correspondent Neil Robertson.
Both Clydeport's pilot cutters were involved (albeit on different sides of Cumbrae!) 10 February 2010.

Caledonian Macbrayne's Loch Bhrusda lying at Largs Pier 08 February 2010. With Loch Fyne lying at Gourock waiting to enter Garvel, and Isle of Arran also lying at Gourock following her small encounter with Kennacraig Pier, Loch Bhrusda is temporarily homeless.
