"Loch Portain was at Largs today from 1420hrs to 1700hrs. Ramp trials at slip until 1435hrs then to Cumbrae Slip for further tests (at this stage Loch Shira was on her rest period at Largs Slip from 1445hrs until 1515hrs).
The vessel returned to face of Largs Pier to tie up while the crew collected their cars from Gourock/Greenock. Loch Portain left at 1700hrs for Campbeltown. PS I think the vessel’s call at Cumbrae Slip was a FIRST – any foreign correspondants?" GL
